Dr. Lance Myers was born and raised in Flint, MI before moving to Polo, IL during high school. He is a chiropractic physician with an emphasis on sports medicine and exercise rehabilitation. He received degrees in Biomedical Sciences in 2006 and Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2009 from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL. After graduation, he opened and operated an office in Freeport, IL, and then later relocated to Rockford, where he joined Caraotta Chiropractic in March 2013. In August 2017, he and Dr. Nicholas Micka purchased the office from Dr. Jacob Caraotta, who began working in short-term medical missions.
Dr. Myers grew up receiving chiropractic care. His mother would often take him and his four brothers to a chiropractor for wellness care. Seeing and receiving the benefits of chiropractic wellness care starting at around the age of 10, he had desired since then to become a chiropractic physician. He desired to help others, understand and benefit from what rehabilitative, corrective, and wellness chiropractic care can do for patients.
Dr. Myers has advanced training in Olympic-style kinesiology taping and sports medicine. Additionally, he has training in spinal correction and rehabilitation through Chiropractic BioPhysics. Dr. Myers is available as a community service for lectures on various health topics, including spinal care, nutrition, and exercise. He is a member of the Christian Chiropractors Association and the International Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Myers stresses the importance of preventative spinal health, nutrition, and wellness. He and his wife Rhonda have 2 daughters, who are active in their church and community, and reside in Rockford.
